Dwight Powell Cleared to Play After Corneal Abrasion

"I Can See Clearly Now"

Powell Suffers Eye Injury, Returns to Action

In a turn of events that could be straight out of a sports movie, Dallas Mavericks center Dwight Powell has been cleared to play after suffering a corneal abrasion on his left eye. The injury occurred during a recent game when Powell was inadvertently poked in the eye by a player from the opposing team.

Powell was initially taken out of the game and taken to the locker room for treatment. However, after undergoing further examination, team doctors determined that the injury was not serious and that Powell would be able to return to play.

Powell's return to the lineup is a major boost for the Mavericks, who have been struggling with injuries this season. Powell is a key player for the Mavericks, averaging 9.1 points and 5.6 rebounds per game. His return will provide the Mavericks with much-needed depth and experience.
